The residue was taken up in CH2CI2 (20 mL), 4 N HCl in dioxane (3.5 mL, 14 mmol) was added and the mixture was stirred at RT for 14 h. A white ppt was collected by vacuum filtration to afford the title compound (716 mg, 80 % yield).
