The mixture was cooled to room temperatureand the solvent was evaporated and the resulting residue was purified by column chromatography (silica gel, 1- 20% dichloromethane/MeOH) which afforded the product as a mixture of twodiastereomers (1 :1) LC/MS: (IE, m/z) [(M + 1)- t-Bu]+ = 336.41
